SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency explained it can be alarmed about the high number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office dedicated more info to service the sassa area regularly. The provider stage established for intervention activities a high influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a sassa status check service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more methods to enable the servicing of all buyers and maximize access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
